“Lok-Kwan opened up a world of relief I did not think was possible with my neurological pain disorder (specifically a progressive disease of the sympathetic nervous system). After my first session I immediately felt pain relief. For over a decade I tried countless medicines, opioids, surgeries and procedures from the "best" specialists in the Midwest. Lok-Kwan was the first to bring me consistent relief, and I am eternally grateful for him.”
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) is a severe, long-term pain condition that usually develops in a limb after an injury, surgery, or medical event like a stroke. The hallmark of the disorder is extreme pain—often described as burning or stabbing—that is much worse than expected for the original injury. In addition to pain, the affected limb may show swelling, changes in skin color and temperature, and limited movement. Essentially, CRPS occurs because the nervous system reacts abnormally to trauma, causing the body to remain in a state of heightened pain sensitivity and inflammation. There may or may not be any clear signs of nerve damage.
