Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

We treat many MS patients at our clinic. Neuro-acupuncture treatments are incredibly effective at managing symptoms and slowing the disease's progression. Treatment results are quite immediate and obvious. A patient walks in with visible lack of balance and coordination and after treatment, walks out faster with a sure gait. One can hear the improvements in the footsteps without looking.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease where your immune system mistakenly attacks your central nervous system—specifically the brain and spinal cord.

Think of your nerves like electrical wires. They are covered by a protective insulation called myelin. In MS, the immune system damages this coating, causing communication signals between your brain and the rest of your body to get garbled or blocked entirely. This can lead to a wide range of symptoms, such as extreme fatigue, muscle weakness, vision issues, or trouble with balance. Because it affects everyone differently, it’s often called a "snowflake disease."
