Different Qigong Forms
Lok-Kwan teaches several Qigong forms. Some are more yang, meaning more dynamic and external. The others more yin, meaning more meditative and internal.
Qigong at the Hoodoos
"For over three years, I have been studying Qigong with Lok-Kwan Cheng. I began the study to assist in combating a diagnosis of Stage 3-B Lung Cancer. The work in Qigong allowed me to sustain energy and strength during a brutal year-long battle with chemotherapy and radiation. The result was surgery where none had been possible and a recovery that allows me to begin to breathe in a normal manner. Now cancer free, I continue to work with Qigong and Lok Kwan and each session brings new discoveries and a stronger sense of well-being. I urge the long-term commitment to this study, for it is only in the long term that the true benefits and power of Qigong begin to be clear. Qigong is an affirmation of life and of the great powers of healing that exist around us and in us. Lok-Kwan Cheng is a miracle!”

“Practicing qigong with Lok-Kwan can be a life changing adventure. My first exposure to Lok-Kwan's instruction in qigong was in connection with acupuncture and shiatsu treatments that I received from him. He showed me a lovely, simple form that I could do at home to help sustain the benefits of the treatments. Later, when I participated in his group qigong classes, I felt the wonder of my own and shared group energy. Lok-Kwan knows energy and he has such joy in sharing this whether as an energy medicine practitioner or teacher. As to qigong form, one of the most important things I learned from LK was to not worry about perfection, but to adapt and to ‘make it my own.’ I have done this and use this same principle in the qigong classes that I now lead in Madison, Wisconsin. Thank you Lok-Kwan!”
